The colors in rabbit bush, sage and red willows are heighten against Colorado blue bird sky. Warm light and cool shadows are apart of the western territory. In the fall we have clusters of golden rabbit bush and turquoise sage, in the winter and spring red willows follow the creek beds. This brush is iconic in western lore and the anatomy backbone for many of my works.
